"The one I use is very easy to use. Good speed control. Nice with the stand. Price is a bit high though. Would be better if it could be charged with a USB charging cord."

One issue that we have found though is that sometimes when you depress the button, it doesn't activate the motor. Not a battery issue, but we have had this recurrent issue with several of our pipettes."

"We have had a few members of our group with RSI and this unit was recommended by our company’s ergonomics team. Initially, I purchased one but then received great responses from the lab members so ended up purchasing 1 for each lab (total of 6). The unit is very easy & light to use and the disposable serological pipets are shorter in length which is a plus. We had these units in our labs for about 6 months and they appear to be functioning great. It is pricey but worth the money as it eases the RSI in our lab."

"The Drummond pipet-aid excel is an ergonomic style pipeter. It has helped limit shoulder/neck pain resulting from pipetting in biological safety cabinets (cell culture hoods) many hours per day. It limits the need to raise your arm while pipetting. The design allows the user to rest your elbow on the hood edge to save your shoulder from becoming over-used and tired. I am an older bench scientist and absolutely depend on this product."
