"This flame photometer works fine most of the time. The only problem that we've had with it so far is that it is quite a squat design, which means that the margins on the gravity drain of the waste water are very small. The result is that the waste tubing only needs to be accidentally lifted by a couple of cm and the nebuliser floods. It would not be difficult to make the legs a bit longer, or even provide a choice of legs. Jenway suggested we make our own little plinth to sit it on! "
