Laser Microdissection and Pressure Catapulting (LMPC) technology, a modern technology for "non-contact" precise laser micromanipulation.

The PALM microdissection systems are system is easy to handle, cutting and catapulting can be learned within minutes. Using this method, single cells can be isolated from tissues in seconds.  After catapulting the samples are diluted within the cap and spinned down into the tube for further procedures. Recovery of DNA, RNA or protein is not impaired and the samples can be forwarded for further analysis. LMPC is very fast, reliable and with no mechanical contact, there is no danger of contamination with non-selected material.
