"Easy to use and the software is straightforward. Performs separations very rapidly. The machine we have in our lab is quite old and sometimes it does stop working."

"We found that our instrument had major defects that made operation impossible. Unfortunately we received poor service from Beckman Coulter and it took multiple visits for the problem to be identified. It has been better since though."

"It's very easy to operate and the post sales service is excellent, however the fee could be lower. Technical support is very helpful."

"In my experience our system does break down a lot. The problem is often unfixable without having to make the service call. But once the specific problem is addressed it will often stay fixed. Sometimes the system gives good data."

"Straight forward program, easy to use. LIF component gives great sensitivity and the external lasers are easy to set up and use."

"The instrument is fairly easy to use, however we have had some issues with the software. Saving files can be confusing when changing from one user to another and the software often has to be restarted. When there are errors that stop a run the messages from the software are not always helpful for trouble shooting. This is particularly the case when the pump seems to have difficulty keeping constant pressure. After sales service is very helpful and knowledgeable when there are problems."

"Very easy, user friendly software. Simple interface, good for visualisation process. Separations are very quick, quiet and consistent. However, the customer service is terrible- very unprofessional liaisons between sales and technical support. The UV-VIS works well but LIF detection doesn't work properly and we have had a hard time getting the service to fix it."

"Easy to use software, service contracts are very expensive. Service helps to reduce cost in replacement parts by trying to fix them before putting a new one. A long lasting system."

"Very good CE instrument, which allows you to change many parameters. But it is very expensive including optional parts. Pressure errors often occur."

"Our P/ACE MDQ system has proven to be robust and the software, 32 karat, is very user friendly and intuitive."

"The system includes a p/ace mdq configured with both a photo diode array and selectable-wavelength uv/vis (200, 214, 254 and 280 nm filters included) detector, uv source optics, temperature-controlled sample storage module and 32 karat software configured on a desktop controller. Installation qualification, operation qualification 1 (oq1) and documentation to aid in software validation is also included. It is easy to use, but setting up the capillary in the cartridge is hard."

"This system is a powerful dual excitation instrument but the CE cartridges are prone to leak coolant if care isn't taken. The capillary also has several oppurtunities to be broken when constructing, inserting and applying the prone to the cartridege."
