"The Ortho Vision Analyzer has been a great addition to our lab. It is a random access analyzer that has many different perks for the lab. We don't have to worry about our lab techs forgetting to perform maintenance steps, because the machine will not run if any maintenance is not performed. The machine will also not run if any of the quality controls are absent or outside expected range. It keeps track of any different lots of cards and will not run a new lot number until the quality controls have been performed. The quality control data is kept on board for more than two years in the data base. It is essentially self-contained as far as documentation. We took our inspector to the analyzer and pulled up anything that they needed right on the analyzer. It is able to back up that much data too. It takes a picture of each reaction and stores that for several months. This was a well thought out analyzer."
