"The software is easy to use, relible and provides an excellent open access system. It takes some time to learn how to use it; however, it is one of the best software out there. The only downside is the analysis of chromatographic data not acquired using UV. For example, mass spectrometry data analysis is challenging"

OpenLab CDS is a valuable chromatographic data system for Pharmaceutical QC lab.

Its "easy to use" interface and flexibility in a GMP environment are valuable. "I like the way OpenLab CDS addresses our need for systematic processing, saving and printing our test results. Also, it has a great security feature where only authorized personnel are allowed to access it. We are also able to save time operating the instrument, e. g. during conditioning and washing of columns, where with our old model and brand of LC, we used to monitor the length of time needed for these procedures using a physical timer, but for OpenLab CDS, I'm just able to program a sequence and method where I can set specific times for each of the solvents for conditioning and washing, together the sequence for the analysis proper, just run it and it will automatically stop and be almost ready for printing! It's really amazing!"
