"We used Oasis HLB Prime cartridges (1cc) for the extraction and LC-MS/MS analysis of a small molecule prodrug and its 5 metabolites. We needed something that extracted all these compounds with very low matrix effects because four of the compounds shared a common internal standard. Other methods worked for extraction but none removed the matrix effects (presumeably phospholipids) to ensure that all 6 compounds could be validated in plasma. The cartridges are consistent and easy to use and work without conditioning however you'll need a vaccuum manifold to draw sample in without conditioning."

"We tested the Waters Oasis HLB µElution PRiME plate by direct comparison with a standard HLB µElution plate using a validated method for 2 analytes. The ends results were the same, in terms of sample cleanliness and recovery. The flow characteristics were also the same (some positive pressure required, not unexpected with µElution SPE). Time was saved as no conditioning or equilibration was required. As the price is the same as the standard HLB plates, we would not hesitate to use it routinely in our lab in order to save time and money (no solvent required for conditioning).
