High intensity copper (Cu) micro-focus X-ray source

We have combined the latest in micro-focus X-ray tube technology with specially designed multi-layer X-ray optics to produce the world’s most popular hi-flux Cu micro-focus X-ray source. Available for the SuperNova diffractometer (and fitted as standard in the PX Scanner), the Nova produces high quality data for even the most weakly diffracting small molecule and protein crystals. Using up to 50W of power, the Nova significantly outperforms a 5kW rotating anode system with optics, but operates at a fraction of the cost.
