NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Modules for NGS Library Preparation by Bioo Scientific

The NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Modules offer additional flexibility to next generation sequencing library preparation. All of these modules are compatible with the Illumina Genome Analyzer IIx, HiSeq and MiSeq sequencing platforms. These modules are also available in quantities greater than 100 reactions.

Modules:
NEXTflex™ RNA Fragmentation Mix
The NEXTflex™ RNA-Fragmentation Module has been optimized to fragment RNA using divalent cations with elevated temperature. This module contains buffers that are suited for RNA fragmentation. The NEXTflex™ RNA-Fragmentation Module is the first step in the NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Kit.

NEXTflex™ First Strand Synthesis Buffer Mix
The NEXTflex™ First Strand Synthesis Mix enables high yield first-strand synthesis of cDNA. This mix contains buffer only; SuperScript® III must be purchased separately. This module is the second step in the NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Kit.

NEXTflex™ Second Strand Synthesis Mix
The NEXTflex™ Second Strand Synthesis Mix has been optimized to generate double stranded cDNA from first strand cDNA. This module is provided as a master mix to maximize efficiency and convenience. The NEXTflex™ Second Strand Synthesis Mix is the third step in the NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Kit.

NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq End Repair Mix
The NEXTflex™ RNA End-Repair Mix has been designed with enzymes and buffers to efficiently repair fragmented DNA with overhangs to blunt ended DNA. This module is the fourth step in the NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Kit.

NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Adenylation Mix
The NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Adenylation Mix has been designed with enzymes and buffers to efficiently incorporate an “A” on the 3’ end of blunt cDNA fragments. The module is the fifth step in the NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Kit.

NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Ligation Mix
The NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Ligation Mix has been designed with enzymes and buffers to efficiently ligate adapters to adenylated cDNA fragments. Using Bioo Scientific’s “Enhanced Ligation Technology”, adapters are bound to more cDNA fragments leading to increased sequencing diversity and reads. The module is the sixth step in the NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Kit.

NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq PCR Mix
The NEXTflex™ RNA-seq PCR Mix has been designed with enzymes, buffers and nucleotides to efficiently amplify adapter ligated cDNA. The module is the final step in the NEXTflex™ RNA-Seq Kit.

Magnetic Beads for mRNA Purification
The NEXTflex™ Poly(A) Beads now provide a convenient method for batch purification of pure, intact mRNA upstream NEXTflex RNA-Seq library preparation. NEXTflex Poly(A) Beads beads use oligo(dT) primer to isolate polyadenylated messenger RNAs from 1 µg – 10 µg of previously isolated total RNA.
