The Neurotransmitter Transporter Uptake Assay Kit is the first live-cell kinetic assay to measure uptake of dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin transporters (DAT, NET and SERT, respectively).
This homogeneous, live-cell fluorescent assay provides a convenient, radioactive-free and automation-friendly assay that can be scaled easily to support high-throughput applications. Read real-time in transfected or primary cells to better understand transporter uptake kinetics during mechanistic studies or as an HTS-amenable endpoint read. Assay kit protocols are pre-optimized and validated for use on SpectraMax® Fluorescent and Multimode Microplate Readers and are available in Explorer (5 assay plates, 1 plate/vial), Bulk (50 assay plates, 10 plates/vial) configurations.
