Fluorescence techniques are ideal for the observation of whole organisms because they are non-destructive and can be performed over long periods. The perfect microscope for fluorescence observation of intact organisms must combine maximum detection efficiency from macro-to-micro magnifications with a high zoom and high NA for resolution of fine details. The MVX10 MacroView brings these factors together with low autofluorescence and other unique features to bridge the gap between macro and micro observation and providing unprecedented brightness, resolution and precision to the imaging system. MVX10 MacroView Features: From Macro to Micro - The two-position nosepiece with 0.63x and 2x objectives expands the usable zoom range by a factor of up to 31.
The objectives are parfocal corrected, so refocusing after objective switching is quick and easy. Dedicated to Fluorescence - Incorporating the latest technologies and materials, the objectives and HQ filters produce minimal autofluorescence. Together with high numerical apertures, this results in a maximal S/N ratio for excellent contrast of faint fluorescence signals.
An unique Objective Line - The MVX10 provides higher-resolution images than stereo microscopes because of the increased numerical apertures of the objectives. The specially designed 0.63x, 1x and 2x plan apochromat objectives produce the highest image quality and are plan-corrected for flatness.
Optical Concept - The MVX10 MacroView employs a single optical path, optimised for unprecedented light-collecting efficiency and resolution at all magnifications. The unique pupil division mechanism however allows the highest light efficiency and stereo observation in a single system.
Tailor-made System Solutions - Highly sensitive and dynamic cameras enable swift data acquisition and with high fidelity. The intuitive Olympus cellSens software and xcellence imaging system allow easy control of all functions and experimental parameters, including the processing and analysis of images.
