"We use this system for the sample preparation of food samples (dairy) as a first step before analyzing metals like Ca, Na, Mg, K and more with our MP-AES instrument. This system is very simple to use and we really like it. One can choose to run up to 12 samples at same run. The digestion process takes about 40 min including a very fast cooling step. You just have to weight your sample into the PTFE vessel, add acid, screw the special cap and put in the instrument carousel. The process temp of each vessel is monitored constantly by an IR sensor and you can download the data at the end. Not like other digestion microwaves on the market, this one has a small footprint which is very important nowadays in crowded laboratories. The low price compared to similar systems is also a factor, so I can say that we made the right decision."
