"This autosampler is very easy to use and it supports headspace analysis and SPME analysis. However, Gerstel's replacement parts are very expensive in comparison to other companies selling basically the same product (e.g. Leap). Also software works only with specific versions of GC-MS software, making upgrades more difficult."

"This product is basically same as other CTC auto samplers, and it features an universal syringe holder which is convenient if different syringe sizes are used. On the other hand, it is not compatible with any other CTC/PAL auto sampler syringes, and the Gerstel ones are quite expensive (about 3 times as others). Also other replacement parts are more expensive than from other manufacturers. Overall, Gerstel might be cheaper options, but you'll pay later much more. "

"Can easily change syringe heads from liquid, headspace and solid phase microextraction. Integrates perfectly with Agilent Chemstation software and is controlled with the Chemstation sequence. Maestro software allows for total control of all autosampler functions including SPME fibre bakeout and sample prep using liquid syringes."
