"Multipette Xstream Kary Mullis Edition is an amazing product from Eppendorf. It’s small state-of-the-art instrument in lab with beautiful light displays. The accuracy remains high with safe work procedures. I liked it a lot."
The striking anthracite-coloured coating adds a premium lustre and elegance to the device. Adorning this edition is the silver signature of Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Kary B. Mullis (1993 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the invention of PCR method). An exclusive Multipette holder, which also bears Mullis’ signature, provides this special model with an appropriate and practical storage solution. Finally, a personal endorsement of the Multipette® Xstream by Dr. Mullis confirms the high regard with which this product is held. Presented in smart and attractive packaging, making it the perfect keepsake, Eppendorf and Dr Mullis are together celebrating excellence and success within the laboratory.
The Multipette® Xstream is the high-end version of the electronic Eppendorf manual dispenser. A unique, blue-lit display supports safe and precise work. It combines easy handling with a wide functional range. In addition to standard dispensing and pipetting functions, the Multipette® Xstream provides the possibility for applications such as titrating, aspirating and sequential dispensing. In combination with the Combitip plus system, it has become an essential laboratory tool. Thanks to the 9 different Combitip plus sizes, more than 2,500 different volumes can be dispensed.
The "Combitip" system component works according to the positive-displacement principle and offers the advantage of dispensing fluids of various density, whether volatile or viscous, with the utmost precision.
