"I do not feel that this instrument is an improvement over the Eppendorf Repeater Plus, which it replaced. I find that the 'slim' design is not compatible to the average hand. When I hold the M4 properly, my fingertips will obstruct the filling lever when dispensing. The after-sales care is excellent: Two of the M4 instruments that we purchased on the trade in program needed to be replaced because of malfunction within weeks of purchase, leading me to question the quality of construction of the instrument. Given a choice, I would stay with the Repeater Plus!"

"The M4 has so far lived up to the expectations. The new model is missing a finger lever that provides ergonomic balance when sucking up liquid. It was a bit awkward to retrain myself on the new model, but beyond that small issue, the new model works in nearly the same way as the old model. "Ease of use rating: The M4 is great when having to make repetitive additions. I prefer to use it over a regular pipette. I love it. After Sales service rating: I wasn't sure how to rate this since we haven't required any after sales service. Value for Money rating: If you have to make repeat additions of the same chemical it saves time and reduces repetitive stress on the fingers, hands and wrist which is priceless. I would definitely recommend this product. "
