Description

 

This Single Place Clifton magnetic stirrer is robustly constructed and designed for a long and durable life featuring independent advanced temperature and speed control for each hob.

Unit consists of a low profile corrosion resistant stainless steel case with a chemical resistant wipe clean sloping control panel which feature 'bright' status indicators. An aluminium hob plate provides a stable source of constant heating. An accessory retort rod can be fitted into a mounting point at the rear and unit is supplied with one pair of PTFE coated stirring bars.

Heating


New low mass hob providing rapid energy transfer and heat up times whilst reducing energy consumption.
The new disc heater has the added benefit of uniformly spreading its heat across surface of the hob instead of more traditional construction of a tubular ring-heating element, which can concentrate heat.

Stirring

Improved electronic speed control.
Improved more powerful magnets for stronger magnetic coupling over speed range 100-1500rpm.
Stir volumes up to 5 litres (related to water).
Each place is supplied with one pair of PTFE coated stirring bars
