"Very accurate instrument to measure the size and shape of powder like particles. It allows you to determine not only a mean length but also a second mean dimension, e.g. length and width. It automatically measures samples with a huge number of particles and provides relevant information of each such as length, width, elongation, circularity, area and convexity. It allows a conversion of the distribution from number to volume. It is extremely useful for determining the shape factors of populations of crystals. It saves huge amounts of time compared to the traditional method of analyzing particles individually in the optical microscope."

"The Morphologi G3-ID is the most versatile instrument in our lab and does an excellent job characterizing and identifying particles in all types of samples (parenteral, powder, filter, emulsions, gels and creams). This instrument has proven to be invaluable in our lab for supporting both internal and external (contract testing) projects. It provides high quality and reproducible results. It is easy to operate (and fun!) and can be used in a QC setting with proper method development/qualification and validation. "

Advanced particle characterization made easy.

The Morphologi G3 provides an advanced yet easy to use particle characterization tool for the measurement of particle size and particle shape from 0.5 microns to several millimeters. In one instrument it offers the flexibility required for R&D and troubleshooting applications, and user-independent results and the validation required for automated QC analysis. The technique is often used in conjunction with laser diffraction particle sizing, to gain a deeper understanding of product or process behavior. The Morphologi G3 measures the size and shape of particles using the technique of static image analysis. Fully automated and with integrated dry sample preparation makes it the ideal replacement for costly and time-consuming manual microscopy measurements.
