"Mono S 5/50 GL is used in ion exchange chromatography. The resin is negatively charged and the proteins with positive charge bind to this resin. Then the linear or non-continuous gradient of NaCl (0-100%) is allowed to elute the bound proteins. The column capacity is 50 mg/ml and the pure protein can be obtained easily. Useful for small scale purification(column volume 1 ml). For large scale purification column with large volume (10 ml) may be used. Easy to handle and clean after run."
