"Mono Q 5/50 GL column are anion exchange column. It contains a positive charge resin. The column volume is 1 ml and it can bind 50 mg of proteins. Because of less volume and large binding capacity these columns are considered as fast for purification. Linear gradient is the most commonly used method to elute the bound proteins however the non-continuous method is useful for better separation."
