One specific benefit is the kit can be ordered WITH or WITHOUT the acid:phenol chloroform, which lasts beyond one kit, so you don't have dangerous unused chemicals piling up the lab."

"I am using mirVana miRNA Isolation Kit to isolate total RNA. I am interested in all type of RNA molecules from smaller ones to big RNA molecules therefore, I am using the mirVana kit to look at variouse RNA molecules from total RNA. The kit is very easy to use and I m really satisfied with yield and purity."
