C140 Mini Blot Module
Specifically designed to work with the 120 Mini-Vertical Gel System. The Mini Blot Module is a small tank blotter that incorporates the best features of a semi-dry blotter (low buffer requirements and fast transfer rates), with none of the problems associated with semi-dry blotting, such as arcing and buffer depletion. Secured by just two clamps, module assembly is simple and fast. 

Fast transfers
Fast transfers without the need for cooling when you use the Mini Blot Module. Close electrode spacing creates the high-intensity fields necessary for rapid transfers without generating excessive heat. Most blotting systems operate at 50 volts or more. This system typically operates between 15 and 25 volts to achieve transfers in as little as forty-five minutes without the need for cooling. 

Low Buffer Volumes
Each module requires only 100 ml buffer per run compared to one liter in other commercially available mini blotters. The Mini Blot Module has a generous 8.5 x 9 cm transfer area so it accepts virtually all standard and precast mini-gels. Each module forms a self-contained chamber capable of blotting one or two gels. Two modules may be run at a time in a single outer tank, for a total blotting capacity of four gels. 

Mini Electroblot System
The Mini Electroblot comes complete with everything you need to blot two gels. It includes: one Mini Blot Module, an outer tank, the safety cover, two clamps and three Scotch-Brite™ pads. The pads are used to hold the gel and transfer membrane in place. 

The system may be upgraded at any time to handle four gels at once with the addition of another Mini Blot Module, pads and clamps.
