"The Carl Zeiss microscope is a long lasting and an easy to use microscope. We've been using it in our lab for a very long time and it still works absolutely smoothly. You can make camera lucida drawings that look just like the slide you're looking at. The gears are still perfect."

"Carl Zeiss microscope in general is still the best resolution microscope compared to other brands like Leica or Andor. Although the photo bleaching effect may be more severe than in any other microscope, the speed of taking time lapse video is similar to other microscopes. The resolution however is for sure far better than any other microscopes I have tried. This microscope is sufficient for high quality still images as well as live cell time lapse. "

"The system operations are easy to learn. There are many options so that you are able to produce exactly the right image. The Carl Zeiss technicians are extremely customer orientated, friendly and helpful. Images are of high quality and I am able to create digital reconstructions of neurons with confocal images."

"Sales service is very good. The service contract is expensive. Software is easy to use for simple features but more difficult for features such as 3D- reconstructions."
