Enhanced selectivity for polar analytes: LiChroPLATE® EN microtiter plates for solid-phase extraction shortens sample preparation time up to 75% compared with other polymer phases. By using LiChroPLATE® EN in combination with an 8-channel pipettor, it is possible to extract 96 samples in less than half an hour. EN stands for enhanced selectivity with respect to all polar analytes – whether basic, neutral or acidic. Even for larger volumes of blood, serum or urine, only 25 mg of polymeric stationary phase is necessary because its capacity is 8 to 20 times higher compared to conventional RP-materials. Less sorbent mass saves solvent and time needed to dry down the eluent volume and the reduction to HPLC conditions.
