Solid-phase extraction with LiChrolut® is a reliable and rapid route to successful sample preparation and the selective extraction of compounds from a complex sample. Three different modified SPE sorbents are available for non-polar solid-phase extraction: LiChrolut® RP-18 endcapped, LiChrolut® RP-18 and LiChrolut® RP-select B. The difference in polarities are clearly described by the adsorption characteristics. This can save time and avoid errors when working on new methods. LiChrolut® RP-select B cartridges are more suitable for enrichment of the somewhat stronger polar compounds whereas LiChrolut® RP-18 endcapped cartridges are more suitable for non-polar compounds using the same matrix.
