The Leica M165 FC stereomicroscope offers superior fluorescence imaging for sorting, screening and dissecting model organisms in developmental, molecular, and cellular biology, from manual picking to digital imaging.

The Leica M165 FC has a large 16.5:1 digitally encoded, apochromatic zoom with standard magnification of 7x - 120x, allowing 3D macro-to-micro viewing (0.67 micron resolution). With a generous 61.5mm of standard free working distance between microscope and sample, you get ample room for your specimen, with room left over for dissecting and picking tools. Leica's TripleBeam technology for fluorescence illumination enhances image contrast, details, and intensity for better performance, even allowing weak fluorescence signals to be displayed with remarkable image quality. The optional FluoCombi II attachment provides quick access to (macro) stereo and (micro) high-resolution imaging retaining the same exact focusing position.
