The Leica DMI4000 B automated inverted research microscope is ideal for scanning cell and tissue cultures, making live cell imaging easier for the microscope novice, - move between complex imaging techniques at the touch of a button.

The system features an automated fluorescence axis for ultra brilliant fluorescence imaging. The internal filter wheel with motorized excitation manager and Fluorescence Intensity Manager (FIM) enables excitation of fluorochromes in less than 20 milliseconds for fast, accurate and reproducible fluorescence intensity. FIM regulates light intensity at five fixed levels and remembers the setting for each filter cube. Many upgrades including cameras, stages and condensers are available to meet future research needs.
