"When this software works it is acceptable however, it regularly has start-up issues. Also, the interface is not very intuitive and causes confusion resulting in time loss for our staff. For example, when an ROI region of interest is on screen and you want to get rid of it but you have a measurement menu open. You cannot do this without closing all open menus, and there is no indication that you are doing something wrong. I would normally give myself grief for missing something obvious, but every single member of our lab has fallen prey to the same issue. This may seem like a minor issue, but it takes forever to figure out what you're doing wrong. It's just a basic microscope function which really shouldn't be confusing. The UX needs a major overhaul. It has frustrated me enough to find a place to write about it. Please try before you buy, and not a demonstration from a Leica sales member, try for yourself."
