Full control of the TIRF system with the Leica AF6000 fluorescence software provides greater precision, reproducibility and less training time. This system offers four integrated solid-state lasers for excitation of fluorophores in all important wavelengths. The short switching times, fully automated alignment automatically-constant TIRF penetration depth when switching from one wavelength to another for improved signal-to-noise ratio and providing the highest quality results. The high synchronized image recording rate open up completely new horizons for researching dynamic processes in live cells, cell membrane imaging and endo/exo cytosis kinetics.
