Everytime it measures and delivers the best results to meet our process requirements in producing best quality coated glass for the Architectural market of various countries. "The Lanbda 1050 continues to impress us over the years of our faithful instrument purchases with Perkin Elmer brand instrumentation. Very easy to use and introduce to undergraduate students. Many accessories give a wide range of capabilities for both teaching and research applications. Overall pretty simple to maintain, long-life lamps and easy to calibrate to keep the system primed for its performance. This instrument stems from a high-standard product line that PE has been known for a long time. From the days of Lambda 19 the Lambda 1050 still continues to shine when it comes to a UV/Vis/NIR here at our institution. Definitely worth the purchase!"

"We have been using it for one year. It provides good quality spectrum with reliable and reproducible results. Sensitivity and resolution is also good even at very low concentrations. It has two spacious compartments dedicated for solution and solid/film samples measurements, which helps to avoid frequent accessory switching. I have got very neat and impressive spectra for reflectance /absorbance mode of powder dye sample using this equipment. Optional accessories are available for advanced measurement needs. UV winlab software interface is almost similar to previous versions with an improved parameter setting window and some new features. It is stable, user friendly and easy to use. By no doubt it is a good spectroscopy tool to be depended on for analysis."
