"I bought the Kinetex column for developing LC/MS screening method for drugs of abuse in biological samples. The separation of the compounds of interest is excellent on this column in comparison to the previous column I was using for the same method. The efficiency and plate count for the compound of interest is higher than other sub-2um columns that I have tried. Due to the success of this column I achieved, I will definitely consider this column as my choice for developing new methods in the future. "

"I used this Kinetex column in my pharmacokinetics study. After using this column in my high performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrochemical detection, I felt that this column had the better separation and good reproducibility and the sensitivity is good. However, when I did my study, I had some problems. Because my study is about pharmacokinetic with microdialysis technique, my samples include a lot of salts. I felt that the reservation is very important. I usually clean my column with 10% methanol first and then with 50% methanol. It usually took a lot of time to clean the column."

"This column is very much in use in our pharmaceutical laboratory. We use it every day because its efficiency is excellent. The analyses are very short and quick. Its practical use is in reverse phase chromatography and it tolerates organic solvents in sample preparation too. The sales people from Chromservis company are very friendly and can be reached by phone every day. The price of the column is relatively good, however it could be much cheaper. We are very successful with it."

Description

 

1.7 µm Kinetex core-shell particles are the first and only sub-2 µm core-shell particle on the market and produce the highest efficiencies of any sub-2 µm column on the market.

The secret is in the core-shell particle morphology. A uniform porous silica layer is grown on top of a solid silica core. This precise architecture results in a nearly monodispersed sub-2 µm particle that is at the forefront of UHPLC technology and challenging system manufacturers to develop next generation UHPLC systems capable of taking full advantage of the performance offered.
