"The equipment is working great for us, in both the diffuse reflectance and ATR modes. It can also work with transmittance readings but it takes a lot of work to prepare the samples (pressing the KBr disk) so from our experience it was better to work with the diffuse reflectance accessory (you only need to mix the KBr with your sample).
