The IonFlux 16 is the world's first multi-channel automated patch clamp instrument designed and priced for the research environment. The system utilizes Fluxion's Well Plate Microfluidics™ (WPM) to conduct patch clamp measurements in a convenient and flexible well plate format.
The system is ideal for a wide range of ion channel investigations, including voltage- and ligand-gated channels. Typical applications include functional expression of ion channels, mutant screening, and ion channel pharmacology.
