INVIEW™ MICROBIOME Profiling 2.0, as a highly sensitive method, allows the identification of both low and  highly complex microbial populations.  By sequencing either multiple hypervariable regions of the 16S rRNA or ITS regions, microbial detection of low numbers of very rare taxa on genus level can be achieved.

INVIEW™ MICROBIOME High Specificity, as a highly specific method, is based on PacBio’s SMRT sequencing. Ultra long reads and the novel Reads of Insert (ROI) approach enable high quality long amplicon sequencing. Full-length 16S gene sequencing (~ 1400 bp) allows for characterisation of microbial communities down to species level at the highest taxonomic resolution.
