The innuPREP Gel Extraction Kit is a tool for extremely fast, simple isolation and concentration of DNA fragments from up to 300 mg TAE or TBE agarose gels.
The first step of the process on which the kit is based is to solubilize agarose gel pieces; this is then followed by selective binding of the DNA onto a filter membrane. The bound DNA are then washed and desorbed from the filter membrane by adding a low-salt buffer. The elution volumes used in this process may be varied between 10 µl and 50 µl. All of the buffers have been adjusted to work well together, resulting in a highly efficient recovery process. The isolated DNA fragments are suitable for immediate use in further applications.
