"The Biotage Initiator+ microwave synthesizer is an elegant and user friendly microwave synthesizer which facilitates both inorganic and organic synthesis; using a range of polar and non-polar solvents. The ability to use varying solvents along with reaction volumes ranging 0.2 mL to 20 mL allows both small and bulk scale synthesis. The software is user friendly and works with a "click and go protocol" - ideal for routine synthesis. Furthermore, the instrument can easily be cleaned which greatly aids in extending it's lifetime in the lab. After sales care is great in that the customer service representatives can readily assist with queries related to the instrument. Furthermore, the consumables to for the instrument are inexpensive and durable. An instrument like this will take a sizeable investment but it is worth it due to the plethora of reactions possible and the longevity of the instrument."
