Description
The new Thermo Scientific ICS-5000 Electrochemical Detector (ED) has been redesigned to be flow and volume optimized and is utilized for both capillary and analytical flow rates. With a new, optional more robust, and calibration-free palladium hydrogen reference electrode, the latest ED detector is easier than ever to use.
Key Features:
- New volume and flow optimized detector cell for improved performance and lower backgrounds
- Option to use pH/Ag/AgCl, or Palladium Hydrogen reference electrode.
- Palladium Hydrogen reference electrode offers improved lifetime and less calibration
- Yoke-Knob design offers reproducible installation of working electrode and cell gasket
- Microprocessor-controlled digital signal processing
- DC amperometry, cyclic voltammetry, and integrated amperometry including 3-D (current, voltage, retention)
- Multiple waveforms and integration times to optimize conditions for individual analytes
- 3-D display of raw integrated amperometry data similar to PDA data display (Chromeleon 6.8 only)
- Integrated amperometry mode with complete freedom to change waveform profile segments
- Dual-detection configurations (in series or parallel)
- Handle design provides consistent torque to cell electrode for consistent installation and mounting of working electrode
- Control through Chromeleon® software or locally through TTL inputs
- Mounts within the DC compartment in either of two locations
- No tools are required for installation
- Cell and detector electronics integrated to minimize noise, maximize electrical isolation and shielding, and maximize thermal stability
- Innovative, built-in electronics for easy calibrations and diagnostics
