"I have been using kits from Bio-Rad and Thermo for reverse trancriptase. This kit from applied biosystems is rather easy to use as it has just the one master mix! So all you have to do is just add the DNA-free RNA sample and you are good to go, in an hours time you have the cDNA! Plus I could scale up without any problems! The quality is pretty good as well!"

High Capacity RNA-to-cDNA Kit is a streamlined reverse transcription kit designed for optimum performance with the TaqMan® Gene Expression Master Mix, Power SYBR® Green PCR Master Mix and others. The new High Capacity RNA-to-cDNA formulation reduces reverse transcription time by at least half, and requires fewer pipetting steps, compared with the classic High Capacity cDNA Reverse Transcription Kit, while maintaining similar high performance.

This enzyme-buffer system has been optimized to provide superior cDNA archiving for real-time gene expression analysis. The kit minimizes the number of reagent additions required, thereby decreasing the likelihood of pipetting errors.

The High Capacity RNA-to-cDNA Kit provides dependable target quantification over a wide dynamic range. The amplification of a dilution series of the RNA concentration reference standard demonstrates exceptional reverse transcription and PCR efficiency across 11 orders of magnitude.
