"This liquid dispenser is extremely easy to use and will help with setting up assays in no time. It is so fast that compounds can be added to the cells on the bench without compromising the assays sterility. This instrument has a small footprint and will save time and money as it evades designing other experiments that would be too time consuming and error prone if done by manual pipetting."

"The technology is really advanced. It allows users to very easily create matrices for combination studies. The software is very user friendly. HP clearly listens to customer input when they create upgrades to the software and the hardware. "

"We were surprised by how much use this instrument sees, and how easy it is to use. It really is a glorified printer, tasked for dispensing compounds in DMSO only. But it does a great job doing that. It is capable of non-contact dispensing down to 13 pL, and has single-use cassettes that are loaded by hand for each compound. Highly recommended as an instrument. "

"I have been using the HP D-300 since soon after it came out. We use it for almost all of our compound titrations for biochemical and cell-based assays. It is very fast to set up and use, and is extremely accurate. We have found it to be particularly good for synergy studies in which we can run full dose response curves for 2 compounds against each other in a 10x10 grid. The cost of disposables may seen to be high, but when you take into account the saved labor and the greatly reduced compound requirements (compared to serial dilutions) it is a good deal for us."

"Allows for very small dispense volume with no waste of compound or reagent. It's possible to perform serial dilutions in any directions across the plate. Can program it to suit whatever you need to do. Easy to use and very accurate."
The HP D300 Digital Dispenser is an automated benchtop instrument that uses HP’s Direct Digital Dispensing technology to enable rapid delivery of picoliter to microliter sample volumes to create dose response curves (IC50/EC50) for small molecule compounds.
Available exclusively through Tecan, this innovative device can cut titration times from hours or days to just minutes.
The HP D300 provides fast and reliable performance across a large dynamic range, eliminating the need for slow, error-prone and wasteful serial dilutions. Using disposable dispenseheads to avoid cross¬-contamination, the instrument offers complete freedom for non-contact dispensing from 13 pl to 10 μl, delivering any dose to any well and virtually eliminating waste of valuable compounds. It combines ready-to-run, walk up and use convenience with intuitive experiment design software to increase productivity while giving reliable results.
Even the most complex experimental plate layouts, such as drug-drug interaction (synergy) studies, can be made simple. Titrating one drug down the plate while another is titrated orthogonally across the plate enables two or more drug doses to be independently generated in every well. In addition, plate layouts can be randomized to reduce the impact of edge effects, increasing the integrity of the experimental data. The HP D300 Direct Digital Dispenser offers a convenient solution to address the most challenging experiments.
