The DRG Hepcidin-25 (c-terminal) ELISA is an enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of the c-terminal part of Hepcidin in serum (U.S. Patents 7,320,894, 7,411,048). Additional US PATENT NO. 7,998,691 was issued to DRG International, Inc., covering a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to reliably detect mature hepcidin in serum over a large concentration range (0.9-140 mg ml-1). DRG® developed the monoclonal antibody ELISA to quantify serum hepcidin levels to diagnose disease conditions including hemochromatosis and other iron level conditions related to liver and other human disorders.
