Separate Mono and Disaccharides or Carbohydrate Oligomers from DP1 to DP8.

Hamilton HC-40 columns separate carbohydrates by ligand exchange and size exclusion mechanisms. HC-40 is a 4% crosslinked gel that uses size exclusion as the primary separation mechanism. For this reason, it is a good column for oligosaccharide separations up to DP8. Calcium, Hydrogen and Lead are available as counter ions. The calcium form column is more commonly used because of its broader applicability.
