RESTRICTION ON USE: Purchaser is only authorized to use the Genome Sequencer Instrument with PicoTiterPlate devices supplied by 454 Life Sciences Corporation and in conformity with the operating procedures contained in the Operator's Manual.

• Choice of 3 kb, 8 kb, or 20kb insert lengths allows project design to be optimized according to the unique characteristics of any genome. Select the appropriate insert length - or use a combination of two, or all three.
• Unique, extra long 20 kb insert protocol produces reads that can span most repeat regions for any size or type of genome, and eliminates (or significantly reduce) the need to use cumbersome and expensive fosmid sequencing.
• Extra long average tag length of over 140 base allows for more unique alignments and greater gap-filling ability.
• Study the full range of structural variation, including insertions, deletions, rearrangements, inversions and more, from one base to millions.
• Generate the highest-quality draft assemblies.
