A robust, reliable and specific qPCR master mix (SYBR Green).

"A robust easy to use hot start Taq polymerase SYBR Green mix for real-time PCR with good sensitivity, specificity. I have been using this mix in fast and normal real-time qPCR machines for relative-gene expression studies and found it to be consistent. Clean amplification curves with less non specific products. The mix is provided in 2X concentration, you need to add CXR dye for normalization to mix prior to use depending on your real time PCR machine. I have used the mix for relative quantification of mRNA, miRNA and gDNA targets and found it very reliable, low lot to lot variability. Ct values are consistent and amplification is robust and specific."

"I have used GoTaq qPCR Master Mix with the Applied Bioscience's StepOnePlus qPCR machine for quantification of gene expression and it seems to work well. The BRYTgreen dye appears to work consistently and I like the flexibility of this product compared to using hydrolysis probe assays, since I have multiple targets to assay and so buying hydrolysis probe assays would be prohibitively expensive."

GoTaq® qPCR Master Mix is a new reagent system for use in real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR). The system contains BRYT™ Green, a new proprietary fluorescent DNA binding dye that exhibits greater fluorescence enhancement upon binding to double-stranded DNA than SYBR® Green I. Combined with the GoTaq® Hot Start Polymerase, optimized buffer and proprietary dye, GoTaq® qPCR Master Mix provides robust real-time PCR with increased reliability, reproducibility and sensitivity.
GoTaq® qPCR Master Mix is provided as a pre-mixed, ready-to-use stabilized 2X formulation that includes all components for qPCR except sample DNA, primers and water to dilute the DNA standards. A separate tube of 100X CXR Reference Dye is included for use with instruments that require a higher level of reference dye than that in the GoTaq® qPCR Master Mix.
