"Very easy system to use. Very good reliability; downtime is as a result of the university computer the system is connected to, never the system itself. After sales support has been exceptional." |

"We took the images with the UVP system and this is good to monitor overall quantification of protein expression levels in more than 40 different head and neck cancer cell lines with/without chemical compound and radiation combined treatment." |

"Easy to use. Good value. Still feels like good old fashioned film is much more sensitive than the Gel Doc system." |

"It is a great piece of equipment; very easy to scan gels and analyze them. Once you know how to use it is very easy. I have used the Geldoc-It system in several laboratories and it is of great use." |

"The UVP software is quite user-friendly. This machine makes the western quicker and less expensive. It completely avoids the use of traditional X-ray films and darkroom for developing the membrane. After adding the developing reagent to the membrane, the fluorescent image can be captured on the machine. The image can be zoomed in or out and the brightness and contrast of the image can be adjusted real time till you get the perfect image that you wanted. The image once stored in the computer can be accessed later and the picture adjustments can be made as desired." |
