GadoSpin M is a gadolinium-based contrast agent of low molecular weight specifically formulated for pre-clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). GadoSpin M is a gadolinium-based contrast agent of low molecular weight specifically formulated for pre-clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Gd-DTPA does not penetrate the intact blood brain barrier and is, in fact, used in clinical practice for imaging of brain tumors.
