Automated DNA quantitation and normalization can easily be performed using the Tecan Freedom EVO automated workstations. With Tecan’s Freedom EVOware® software package and the addition of a specifically designed DNA normalization software routine, these basic platforms are capable of all the pipetting and microplate handling steps for DNA normalization tasks. Temperature-controlled reagent and microplate racks can handle virtually any microtube or microplate format commonly used in this type of procedure. The workstations can also be configured with disposable tips to avoid carryover and cross-contamination of samples.
