"Highly user friendly and very effective software with multiple options. So many pre programmed programs to make it much easier to use and operate. Cost is also very low and have different models which can be placed based on user requirement. Best post sales service by the team with minimum turn around time it s like within 48 hours. Good application team to explain and create protocols and for troubleshooting as well. Any-time approachable team for any kind of assistance."

"We have integrated our EVO 75 with an Agilent 2x BenchCel to be our lab hit picking solution. We have had this for many years now, and it functions very well for us. Essentially no downtime, it is an extremely reliable system. We use it to pick between 1-20ul to/from 384-well microplates and it never misses a well. We can reasonably expect ~2000 wells per day using our 2-tip system. Precision at 1ul is not great at 10-20% but we are pushing the limits with a dry dispense at this volume. Precision at 2ul is <5%."

"We have the Tecan Freedom Evo 100. We recently acquired the piece of equipment from the auction sale so value for money is still to be fully evaluated. When facing a challenge (equipment software stuck and Tecan support was needed), it took some time to get the right person on the line. Easy to use and to adapt to our processes."

The Freedom EVOlyzer is designed to cope with different laboratory workflow demands, from the analysis of small numbers of samples through to high throughput screening of thousands of specimens, using a variety of assays. It takes advantage of Tecan’s proven liquid handling technology to safely and reliably handle complex sample types and precious patient samples, delivering robust, reproducible data that ensures high confidence in the results.
The Freedom EVOlyzer is available in three different configurations with a large plate storage capacity, offering higher flexibility for changing workloads and enabling provision for future increases in demand. It allows automation of all common ELISA steps – sample distribution and predilution, reagent pipetting, incubation, plate washing, optical density determination and evaluation of results – as well as general pipetting tasks, such as sample aliquotting, plate preparation and archiving. The platform’s dynamic scheduler ensures workflow optimization, with continuous loading and parallel sample pipetting for improved throughput and processing of entire diagnostic panels in a single run. This flexible scheduling enables efficient use of the system, generating reliable, reproducible results in the shortest possible time. For maximum user safety, the Freedom EVOlyzer includes door locks and a status lamp, as well as process security features such as liquid level and clot detection. The software also tracks all maintenance steps performed, indicating when user input is required.
The Freedom EVOlyzer is an open system developed in compliance with IVD-D 98/79/EC, Annex III and 21 CFR part 11. It provides full sample and process traceability, with barcode identification of samples, reagents and microplates, and integrated user management, simplifying accreditation and minimizing in-house validation demands. The wizard-guided touchscreen interface – available in 10 languages – ensures straightforward operation, with a comprehensive data reduction package supporting user-defined rules, automatic technical result validation and Westgard QC evaluation. In addition, bi-directional ASTM communication with LIMS allows a paperless workflow.
The Freedom EVOlyzer platform is complemented by Tecan’s unique portfolio of IBL International assays, allowing you to expand your business to new diagnostic areas and consolidate your existing workflows.
