Rapid and smooth imaging with excellent definition is achieved via a choice of scanner configurations, while accurate multicolour, multiphoton excitation and imaging is possible with a choice of lasers and the industry-first four-axis auto-alignment system.

The system offers optimal multiphoton excitation from 680 to 1300 nm, with the ability to support wavelengths of up to 1600 nm. High sensitivity is prioritized throughout the FVMPE-RS, and light collection efficiency is further improved by the system’s optimized light path. Signal is boosted by 20% or more when using the newly developed “Deep Focus Mode”, ideal for in vivo specimens with heavy laser scattering. An optional high-sensitivity cooled gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) detector unit is also available to further increase sensitivity. Two new configurations now expand the FluoView FVMPE-RS series beyond the original upright frame version introduced in 2013. These offer even greater scope and flexibility for research, opening up a wide range of observation possibilities suited to imaging a greater variety of biological specimens.
