Comprehensive results, great technique!

"Platelets obtained from patient specimens have been investigated by time-resolved fluorescence (TRF) spectroscopy and SERS both with 532 nm laser excitation source on Ag/Ti rough surfaces. As a result, a set of optimal experimental parameters for platelets discrimination have been determined based on the spectral differences that were obtained. Platelet spectral data for healthy volunteers, healthy volunteers on antiplatelet therapy and individuals with cardiovascular pathology on antiplatelet therapy have been analyzed. We suggest that the obtained results allow the usage of TRF and SERS as a fast diagnostic tool for determination of both inhibition of platelet aggregation and its structure conformation."

Even though the cost it high, it's far more important to have reliable equipment.

"Easy to use, high reliability, high precision as well as high accuracy. All results obtained were the same as found in high impact letters. The equipment's high cost makes the difference. Another good characteristic is that it could be customizable. Robust system. but poor after sales service in Brazil."
