FluoBeam – for near infrared fluorescent animal imaging. The FluoBeam is an innovative, hand-held imaging system that detects 2D in vivo fluoresence. Incorporated in the Fluobeam is a laser which is able to excite the near infrared fluorophores (NIR) associated with a crown of LEDs allowing you to work under white light in open space with direct access to the animal.
It is available at two excitation wavelenghts: Fluobeam® 700 (λex: 680nm / λem: >700nm) and Fluobeam® 800 (λex: 780nm / λem: >800nm) In addition the Fluobeam is compatible with the majority of NIR dyes available and is very sensitive with an open design for unconstricted protocols, this allows imaging of small or large animals.
