"This machine is easy to use and the mulitple ionization sources are easy to switch between (ESI & APCI). The Xcalibur software is okay, there are a few post analysis operations that are difficult to use and find. The gas use is high on N2 and I wish there was a lower use rate."

The Finnigan LCQ Advantage is the workhorse ion trap mass spectrometer for high productivity LC/MS/MS results and is easily upgraded to MSn performance.
